Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle and protect it.

Last updated 21 June 2026

GrowthMesh (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). It applies to our website and to the services we provide.

Who we are

GrowthMesh is a consultancy based in Brisbane, QLD, Australia, providing managed IT and growth marketing services. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your information, you can contact us using the details at the end of this page.

What information we collect

We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our business. This may include:

  • Contact details - your name, business name, email address and phone number, for example when you submit an enquiry or request a health check.
  • Enquiry content - the information you choose to tell us about your business, systems and requirements.
  • Technical and usage data - basic information your browser sends when you visit our website, such as your device type, browser and pages viewed, used to keep the site secure and working well.
  • Engagement records - information we collect in the course of delivering services to you under a separate agreement.

How we collect it

We collect personal information directly from you - for example when you complete our contact form, email us, call us, or engage us for a project. We collect technical data automatically through standard web server logs and, where used, privacy-respecting analytics.

Why we collect and use it

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your enquiries and provide the information you request;
  • conduct health checks, scope work and deliver our services;
  • communicate with you about an engagement;
  • operate, secure and improve our website; and
  • meet our legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your details for unrelated marketing without your consent, and any marketing we do send will include an easy way to opt out.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses only the cookies necessary for it to function and, where enabled, aggregate analytics to understand how the site is used. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies; some parts of the site may then work less smoothly. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of you.

Disclosure to third parties

We may share personal information with trusted service providers who help us run our business - for example email, hosting, form-handling and analytics providers - and only so they can perform those services for us. Some providers may store data outside Australia; where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law.

AI-powered tools

Parts of our website use artificial intelligence to generate responses - for example the growth report tool on our home page. Anything you type into these tools is sent to OpenRouter, Inc. and passed to the third-party AI model provider that generates the response. That information is processed, stored and retained in accordance with those providers’ own privacy policies and terms, and is generally processed outside Australia. Please don’t enter sensitive personal information (such as health, financial account or government identifier details) into these tools - a general description of your business and its challenges is all they need. If you’d rather not use an AI tool, you can always contact us directly.

How we store and protect it

We hold personal information in secure systems and take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We keep information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described above or as required by law, after which we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. If we become aware of a data breach likely to result in serious harm, we will respond in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. There is normally no charge to make a request.

Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the “last updated” date shown above.
